Tonight, we took the kids (minus Shane, who got to have a sleepover at Grandma's) to see Disney on Ice. I had won tickets from the blog Tiaras & Tantrums, whose author happens to be another mom in our home school co-op (though we haven't actually met in person yet!).
All week, we've told the kids that we had a "special surprise" for them on Thursday night...and they were just so excited!

They've never been to anything like this before, so I wasn't sure how they would like it, especially since a lot of the characters would be unfamiliar to them. But, they loved it and did great throughout the entire show.
In true Meghan fashion, I took a ton of photos. I scaled them down, and here are some of the highlights of the show...

Caleb's favorite character to see was Captain Hook (although he has never seen Peter Pan, Captain Hook is on Jake and the Neverland Pirates, which is one of Caleb's fave shows).
Meredith's favorite characters were Tinker Bell (she's never seen Peter Pan, but loved Tink tonight!) and Rapunzel (she actually has seen Tangled).
It was great to have Daddy with us tonight. A lot of the fun outings we go on are often during the day time hours, so it's just me and the kids. Having Dad with us made it an extra special night.
