Many hands...

 ...make light work.

The kids love to help clean (oh how I hope that this stays the case for a looooong time).  While they aren't huge fans of cleaning up their toys (although they have their moments of organizational grandeur), they enjoy helping with things like dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, putting dishes away, etc.

This afternoon, they helped clean the front door, a task that needs to be done a LOT around here.  Because just as many hands make light work, many little hands also make lots of prints on the glass.  =)

Strawberry Fields

We went strawberry picking today!  Although it was a bit of a drive up to Stade's Farm, it was worth it.  And although it was a bit toasty, the sun was a welcome change from the great amounts of rain we have had recently.  Grandma joined us for the fun, and reminded me that she used to take my sister & I strawberry picking when we were little girls.

After a long car ride, the kids were so excited to see this big strawberry balloon above the farm.

After we got our baskets, the kiddos got right down to business.  Meredith reminded us all that we have to look for red ones, not green ones.

Caleb was very excited to find this strawberry that was shaped like a pineapple.
My sweet girl found me a flower.

 The pickers...

Sweet littlest lady had a grand ol' time in her stroller.

The kids did a great job finding lots of berries.

When I asked Meredith if we should make something with them, she excitedly exclaimed..."we should make apple pie!" =)
