Play Ball

Tonight was Caleb's last baseball game of the season.  It has been quite the commitment this summer for both Caleb and Kris as coach....3 days a week...1 practice + 2 games every week for the past two months.  It's been a fun season, and I think Caleb learned a lot.  He had a good time and made some friends.

Tonight's game was at a different field than usual, and it must have seemed pretty "big time" to these little boys.  Most of my pictures are from behind the fence, so pardon the blur.  Oh, and you will likely notice that Caleb has a toothless grin (and some swelling/puffiness on his face)...he had a fairly traumatic injury to his mouth/teeth/gums this past weekend.  Poor kid.   More-frequent-than-typical visits to the dentist for checks & x-rays are ahead...
