It's hard to not have family close by to celebrate special days like this, but we are so thankful to have friends who are like family live on our street. We had them over for pizza and cupcakes (chocolate cupcake recipe here; cream cheese frosting recipe here) and frozen themed punch (blue Hawaiian punch, 7-up, pineapple juice & vanilla ice cream), along with some other adult drinks. ;)
