Museum of Science & Industry

Yesterday, we braved the no-school-day crowds and spent the day at the MSI.  Despite lots of lines and lots of people, we had a fun day.  We spent most of the day there - about 6 hours - and got to see and do a lot of great things.  Here are some of the highlights...

The Zephyr...high on the favorites list for all the kids...

...despite Shane's melancholy face.

Cool hologram guy...

Silly mirrors in the circus hall...

I-Spy window...

The submarine exhibit was pretty neat!

The Space Center was super cool also...

In his element!

Chickies!  Seeing these babies made us super excited to hatch our own again this Spring...

Wright Brothers' plane and The Transportation Gallery...Shane said..."I know that plane from my book!"

Hello, this is Traffic Control...
I made the kids wait in line with me to see the Your Beginning exhibit...they were patient troopers and were in awe of the babies, despite not fully understanding the whole concept...

Ice Cream at Yesterday's Main Street...

Waiting in yet another line...tired kids.

Waiting for the big kids as they explore the Zephyr one last time.  This little girl was exhausted (so was her mama).  She was asleep in the van before we even made it out of the parking garage (thankfully I stayed awake on the drive home!)...

Just for fun, check out some pictures from the last time we visited this museum by clicking here!
