Turtle Splash

This evening, we went to Turtle Splash...a nearby water park. Aunt Heidi was out for the day, so she came along; we met up with some friends there as well. This was the first time all summer that we have been to an actual pool. We spend a lot of time at splash parks, but don't often make it to the pool. The kids loved it. The major span of water was shallow enough for even little Meredith to walk around in unassisted. The park had slides and fountains and waterfalls and an entire playground set in the water for the kids to enjoy. Fun fun. Caleb was just tall enough to be able to go down the big tube slide with Mom or Dad....and he loved it. When we got home tonight, he actually asked if we could get one of those for our backyard! It was so fun to spend time as a family & with friends doing something so fun....hopefully we will get back to Turtle Splash again before summer ends.

Shane was pretty content to sit in the water and splash while the big kids played...
