Norah has been mobile for several weeks now...she's learned to scoot and army crawl quite efficiently (and really quickly!). Finally this weekend, she has begun doing more traditional crawling to get from place to place, however she still often resorts to the tried & true army crawl, which is much faster for her at this point.

American Girls
Grandma graciously treated us all (Kir and I with all the kids except Caleb, who was at school) to a fun day in the city today....with the main purpose of our day being a stop at the American Girl store to get these big girls each their own doll. They were pretty excited!
We rode the train downtown, which was extra fun for all the kids.
Ready to go in to the store!
The girls had fun picking out their dolls. Meredith picked out Marie-Grace and Evangeline picked out Cecile. Coincidentally, those two dolls/characters are friends. Their stories are both set in the late 1800s, in new Orleans. While we let them pick out their dolls completely on their own, I absolutely love that the ones they picked are friends. As we read the stories that go along with the dolls, it will be fun to remind Meredith that her doll's "friend" is the doll than Evie has.
After our visit to the store, we went to Uncle Warren's for lunch!
The kids loved playing pool, watching Jake & the Neverland Pirates, eating McDonald's, and listening to Uncle War play his guitar.
Wish this wasn't blurry. Sweet girlies with their dolls.
Marie-Grace, Meredith's new friend. =)
Thank you, Grandma, for a special day!

Edward's 2013
We took our annual trip to Edward's yesterday. The best part......Kir & E & Z are in town, yay!
I've been to Edward's many many times, and yesterday was by far the busiest it's even been on a day when we were there. Cars were stopped for a couple of miles down the road, just waiting in line to get into the parking lot. It was ca-razy. But so fun, and so worth it!
The kids were quite antsy in the "car line"....and as much as we all love looking at cornstalks, even that gets boring after a while...
Finally!!!
The cousins were so excited to see each other....the last time they were all together was last Christmas. :(
Off to catch a wagon out to the orchards!
