Growing Belly = Growing Baby!

I love reading updates on what is going on with our little baby. It is absolutely amazing to me to be reminded of how intricately woven together each human being actually is.

Psalm 139:13 says...For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

To know that God created this child and that He is knitting him together each moment is awesome.

Here is the first "belly shot" that I took, at 13 weeks, along with one we took today at 25 weeks.

13 Weeks...

Baby was the size of a medium shrimp. =)

25 Weeks...

Baby is now the size of a rutabaga!

And, here is a little blurb (from babycenter.com) about our little guy!

Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.
