Summer in the City

We spent the day in downtown Chicago....we had lunch at Warren's River North apartment (he's in town for the summer, and goes back to UVA to start year 2 of law school in a few weeks), and he took us to a great nearby park so that the kids could run around. The kids did pretty well, despite being nap-deprived. If was fun to get into the city today, and great to spend the day with family.

Enjoying the view from Uncle War's apartment...

Enjoying the walk along the river...Caleb with Uncle War and Grandpa...

Fun at the park...

It was HOT! Thankfully, the park had some fountains that the kids could run through to cool off!

Although, having your Daddy swing you through the fountains also serves such a purpose.

The water fountain does the trick as well...

Girlies swingin'...

Our stroller conveniently holds all 3 kids...not sure that's how it's intended to be used, but it works. =)
