We took a somewhat last minute trip up to the Grand Canyon! We wanted to do something special with Nana and Papa in town. We took the scenic route up there (literally) by driving through Sedona so that they could see the beautiful and unique red rocks there. It was a fun whirlwind of an adventure!

Ready to explore the grandest of all canyons!
Warning: lots of pictures of a large (yet awesome) hole in the ground ahead.
Although it was a bit chilly at the start of our day, the views were
incredible. Blue skies and warm sun were an incredible blessing! It was amazing to have such a clear view of so many aspects of the canyon.
Lots of trees were climbed!
We miss the changing leaves of the Midwest. So it was a special treat to catch some small glimpses of that...
