Brookfield Zoo Field Trip

 I got to chaperone Meredith's zoo field trip today.  It was soooo cold, but so much fun!  I didn't get a ton of pictures of animals....the sweet girlies were much more fun to photograph!

Costumes

It's no secret that I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween.  There are several reasons I don't love this holiday.  However, each year we do look forward to helping the kids pick out costumes, and we are also looking forward to the tradition of trick-or-treating on Halloween day with neighbor friends, and dinner together afterwards.

Yesterday, we took the kiddos to a local Trunk-or-Treat at the church where Shane attends preschool.  The kids were super stoked to wear their costumes.  Here's a few pictures I snapped before heading out...

Fall Pictures & Rocket Fizz

 It's become tradition to take pictures in the same spot on the same weekend each October.  This is our third year doing this, and I am hoping to keep it going.  It's fun to see the changes in the kiddos from year to year.  Shane isn't feeling great, and I sadly didn't get any good solo pictures of him.
