Our Little Gymnast

Meredith loves her gymnastics class!  She really likes to run and jump and swing and balance and play and say "ta-da!".  Oh, and she really loves the sucker that she gets at the end of every session. =)  Here are a few photos I snapped during class today...

Lowercase Letters of the Week - jklmn

Meredith worked on some letter projects today...and, here they are!  She just loves doing "pojects".  As soon as we finish one, she asks to do another.

Their Latest Memory Verses

First, their monthly memory verse for October:

Tonight is "silly glasses" night.  

 

We don't have any silly glasses, so we figured that if he wore his regular sunglasses upside-down, they would be silly enough.  It works.

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Farm

This morning, I went with Caleb's class to a nearby pumpkin farm. It was so much fun!

The kiddos watched a quick movie about the farm.

Caleb's favorite part about the morning was the wagon ride.

He loved feeding carrot sticks to the animals!

He had a great time running through the hay maze...

...and the corn maze!

Family Baking Night

We couldn't bring home all those freshly picked apples and not bake anything....so tonight, the whole family (minus Shane, who had already gone to bed) worked together to make apple pie!

The kids love to help in the kitchen....they are always eager to pour, stir, scoop, roll, pat, etc.  Tonight's assignment called for all of that, and more.  They did indeed pour and stir and scoop and roll and pat.  They also played with flour and made a big mess.  Good times had by all. =)
